Work would be maddening and highly unproductive if we all chose to accomplish tasks creatively. Imagine if everyone in every office meeting tried thinking of new ways to accomplish everyday tasks. No one would know what to expect from others and I predict nothing would get done. Managing such an environment with everyone revolting against the system would be a nightmare. (Or it could be wonderful. Let’s try!)
