As a child, every New Year's Eve we go to church until after midnight.

For several years, we and more than a dozen of our friends have gone to a New Year’s Eve dance that lasts from about 6 PM to after midnight, where we mingle to dance on a great dance floor with at least again that number of people we know during the evening. All told, this year there were 200 people in attendance.

As a child, every New Year's Eve we go to church until after midnight. Then we pray and thank God for another year. I am always home as many things have changed in our world.
