‘Can empathy be taught? Is it contagious.’

On some level it can, children who were raised seeing their parents showing empathy, understanding, kindness, and love to the poor and less fortunate will try and do the same as adults. For others, kindness, love, empathy, and understanding comes from somewhere deeper inside their hearts. For me, I can literally feel their pain, my instincts force me to act accordingly. I want kindness, so I give. I want understanding, so I give it. I want all the good things, so I give it, plus it’s the right thing to do. I usually don’t get it back 95% of the time, but I get it back when I need it. I believe the good we do bounces back to us. Good deeds, actions, ideas, etc., will carry you longer than all things bad. And sometimes, the good we do carry your children on after we are dead. There are more benefits in doing good. Stay good.
