Chapter 47
“Wait,” I called out after her. As I attempted to follow her, Malia pushed me. I would have fallen if Willoby hadn’t caught me.
“Your mother killed my mother, and now you have returned and killed my father!”
“Malia” I pleaded. “Please help me. I don’t know what’s going on. Please.”
The look she shot me, if looks could kill, I would be ashes.
“More than thirty years and my father would go to every property that was owned by her family in search of Tara. He always said he would find her, and here you come along. The only good that will come of this, is that he died believing he found you. My father fell in love with a beautiful blond. That blond was your mother,” she revealed.
I touched my faux blond hair.
“Your mother, Tara was the direct descendant of Hawaiian royalty. In fact, your mother would be on the throne now if we still had Kings and Queens. There were rumors back then that a coup was being planned to return Hawaii to her, and that she would command the power of the Yellow Diamond from then on. She was foolish to follow the advice of a group of fanatics, who promised that they would restore the throne to her. That the CIA would actually return Hawaii to her, the great-granddaughter of…
