John ate a lot and did so with entitled impunity. If he didn’t find enough to eat on the table, he’d ravage the cupboards. It didn’t matter that he wasn’t in his own home. He was always hungry and entertained no social skills. In fact, he berated anyone who had the gall to hide tender morsels behind the pots and pans in order to ensure that everyone got a bite before he did.
