Even if we had unlimited income, my thrifty side wouldn’t let me enjoy a cup of 50-cent tea, for $5. Furthermore, it is quite awkward when hubby, who’s always surprised, announces loudly across the restaurant upon receiving the bill, “Holy Cow! $5 for a cup of tea!”.
