…t home from the daily grind
You don’t feel like painting, anyway.
Merely living becomes survival.
 
And you pass kids playing in the street
And you want to scream to them
“Run! Run while you still can!”
But you know that it won’t do any good
For they have their dreams
Of futures full, and they have no
Time for you.
