Dreams & Nightmares

“What are you doing here?” Kate asked her two half-siblings and their spouses.

“We are family and we are here to support you. Congrats on your award.”

Kate smiled, as years of pain inflicted by them suddenly felt lighter. “Thank you for the support, but you can’t be a part of the DREAM if you weren’t apart of the NIGHTMARES.” Some people fled from your life when the storm began to rage and return when the sun starts to shine. Tag and thank the ones that stay for the nightmares and the storms.
