George Washington is Crying
The Founding Fathers are turning in their Graves.
I saw George Washington last night in my dream and he was crying.
In tears, George asks, “What is wrong with my beloved country. Everything we stood for, fought for, the good men and women gave their lives for are forgotten. In almost four years everything great and wonderful about us has been slipping away.”
I said, “Someone wise said, ‘if a nation is divided against itself, it cannot stand.’”
George Washington wiping away tears reveals, “I watched the debate, and if we continue along this path, we will lose our status in the world.”
I sigh and informs, “You are late, status has no value to a country fighting against itself amid a pandemic, while its people are dying.”
“Oh, how lucky they are that death has no power?” George said with regret.
“The world is glad about that. We know all of you guys are turning in your graves when you look and see what is happening to this great and wonderful country. But when you hire a plumber to fix a leaky roof, chaos will be the result.”
“A smart and innovative plumber will apply similar skills to get the job done. Just as a man who loves his country will work with his people so that everyone will survive,” George said wiping away…
