Gosh, as a Caregiver I get to see close up the pain many of the elderly must endure as they aged.

I will never forget this conversation. She was cognitively aware enough to know her limits. Mostly, she wanted me to understand her limits, and she wanted to protect herself from what could easily deteriorate into a state of confusion. Those moments were bound to happen, but she wanted less of them.
