I agree, I too teach my children that what they were born with, is god's gift to them.

…ts, we talked about Black pride, but we never talked about Black and Blackness and what that meant. There was no need because my parents, proud Sierra Leonean immigrants, lived their lives embracing our culture, sharing with us their clothes, language, food, and music. They taught us if you don’t love yourself, then how can you expect someone else to love you?
