I am with you on this. If I worry about what other's think, I get nothing done.

This reminded me of my mum when I was a kid. She also used to ask me questions like, “What will people think of you?!” As if I was some psycho (or supercomputer) and could read people’s minds… How on earth should I know what people think? And why should I worry about it? Their thoughts, their problem, not mine. Luckily my dad didn’t care…
