I don't mind failing. that's how I learn, I just don't make it a habit.

While my wife and I have built a solid middle-class existence, those working-class values still dominate the core of who I am, and that subconscious fear of failing to make ends meet lingers in the back of my mind. I can still feel the impact of Dad’s layoff even after four decades.
