I didn’t want to take the medication when I first got it prescribed last summer. I didn’t want anything to change me, change the way I still, somewhere deep underneath the uncertainty and self-doubt, love myself a bit. Would I be able to care for a pill-regulated zombie I was afraid of becoming?
