I love paintings, wished I could afford a few thought.

She stopped at thrift stores and antique shops any chance she got. I remember the huge Canada goose decoy and the owl print she bought on a trip home from picking up my older sister from St. Francis Cabrini school (it no longer exists). I now realize this was art collecting on a budget.
