I never thought of it this way. Attending Catholic school all of my life, they taught me that my body is a temple of the Lord and that I shouldn't abuse the Lord's temple. They taught me self respect and discipline, among other things. Abstinence was easy for me. Talk about brain power and the power of words, because I am not a Catholic.
