Four bananas on my counter are waiting to get ripe enough to eat, just like Julia A. Keirns (though hers are probably not there anymore). I didn’t like bananas as a kid. Now, I eat them frequently at breakfast in my oatmeal (which I also didn’t like) or on toast with peanut butter and strawberry preserves. I also blend frozen ones in my protein shakes.
