I wished I could stay in bed. I couldn't.

Today is a holiday here in the states, but instead of sleeping in, I woke up early, groaned loudly and made a pot of coffee. With businesses closed and everyone else staying in bed, I figured I’d get a couple of quiet hours to knock out the yearly tax chore. So, I grabbed my favorite mug, filled it to the top and sat down at my desk.
