Here in Northern Portugal, on April 30, we go out and pick sprigs of Maias (Cytisus scoparius, also known as Scotch broom) on a hillside or by the side of the road. So that was exactly what I did after lunch. I went to the woods and picked up a bunch of golden Maias.
