James is dead?

…y of us, know that two and a half years later, in September 2023, James would no longer be with us. James suffered a fatal asthma attack while swimming in the ocean near his home. His death sent shock waves through the network of roots that connect us, including those here on Medium. James had many, many friends here on Medium.
