Parents can't teach us what they don't know.

My parents were old-fashioned, and their beliefs did not serve my best life. I forgive them. They did not mean any harm. They just raised me the way they were raised (which was outdated in this modern world.) However, it set me up for failure. There are many things I wish they had said to me that they didn’t.
