Politicians and Their Greed for Power Needs An Off Switch
A story on the value of history.
Reading ‘The Morning After,’ a poem by Suzanne V. Tanner and the last words of this powerful poem slapped me in the face, “Greed has no off switch.”
She was referring to the US 2020 Presidential Election results. I still say 2020 is the year of the Fools. History is repeating itself because educated, smart, powerful people in power have forgotten that their first responsibility is to the people. The people who gave them the power can take it away. The people they represent will not forget the pain and agony of their actions, choices, and decisions. They are adding to the chaos our world is already in. The average people seem to be more sensible, wiser, and smarter than the people who are supposed to lead them.
All of those at the top need a history class. NOW! Many of the TV, Radio, and News Stations who are adding to the chaos and pain humanity is in, needs a history lesson like we need a vaccine for COVID 19. And they need it NOW! With the power of technology someone please give them some history lessons. Their heads are so high up in La La Land, they can’t see what’s ahead, but the people they are supposed to lead, can. The game of Politricks and greed is destroying our world.
