The Earth asked, “Why are you destroying me?”

Fire burns, “I can’t self-start. Your friend up there who shines on everything helps.

Sun shines, “If they stop cutting down the trees and polluting the air, Earth wouldn’t be so hot.”

Flood added, “I agree, the ice is melting, and I have nowhere to go but inland. It’s going to be hell living among them, but I have the power to change their lives my way.”

Volcano erupts, “Me too, I’m in the news now.”

Hurricane blew, “See how I kept them on their toes fixing, preparing and changing. They love me so much, they named me.”

Then Earthquake shook, “I agree. With their fracking, drilling, and building, they’re calling me. I don’t mind, I love to see them running around, plus, I have company.”

Tsunami roars, “Thanks for the invitation bro. I’m enjoying the party.”

Tornado circled, “When they call me, they video-taped me. They even paint me. I am dangerously beautiful.”

Earthquake shook, grabbing everyone’s attention. “Guys, we have the power. What if we call up Monsoon, Thunderstorm, and the others, then we all pay earth a visit together, instead of one at a time?

Earth screamed, “But that will destroy me!”

Drought moaned, “Your inhabitants are already doing that.”

Earth begged, “Please, BE KIND TO ME!
