See, by learning about other religions we learn more about ourselves.

From the cult members, I learned that you couldn’t trust someone else to interpret your spirituality for you, because they always had their own agenda. From the Wiccan, I learned that experiential spirituality could show you if you were on the right track now, rather than waiting until you died to see how well you’d done. And from the Buddhist, I learned that I needed to be unattached to the outcome, if I wanted to find the source of my spirituality.
