Tag & Thank

“I am not going!” Bess cried slamming down her cellphone on the sofa beside her.

“Not going where?” her mom asked, sipping her coffee facing her daughter in the armchair.

“How can he forget his pain!” Bess roared. “I haven’t!”

Mrs. Howell read the pain in her daughter’s eyes, and wisdom speaks, “Your husband and the roof again?”

Bess’s eyes popped out, she quickly pulled them in and relate, “the first time he fell off the roof he was hospitalized for two weeks, and I had to endure 6 months of therapy with him. The second incident he was hospitalized for three weeks, and another nine months of therapy. How can he forget all that pain?” Bess repeated angrily.

Mrs. Howell sighed, placed her cup of coffee on the end table to her left and encourage, “honey, some of us give ourselves reasons not to do stupid things. Others do stupid things for a reason.” What is your reason to be smart? Tag and thank your reasons for being smart.
