“Why don’t you ask Andy for help?” Marie tried to persuade her husband of four decades. “He is still doing great and you guys were in business thirty years ago.”

Noel sighed with a heavy heart, stared into his wife’s desperate eyes and revealed, “Thirty years ago we both faced a major decision, he made the right one and it’s been carrying him since. The ones I made couldn’t carry me to that door,” he pointed to the door three feet away. “But it stayed with me and cost me everything I own!”

How far did your last decision carry you? Who helped you to make the right decision that carried you where you wanted to go and stayed with you? The right decisions will carry you and stay with you, the wrong one won’t, but it will stay with you and bring you grief.
