Giving Thanks by Annelise Lords

When Sherry picked up her fifth award for excellence in her field, she thanked Paul and Angela Anderson for their services. Sherry always thanked these anonymous people. Everyone at the awards ceremony wanted to know about their services.

So Sherry said, “ten years ago they left me with a million dollar debt, the bank foreclosed on my home and my business. I lost my reputation, my name, my husband, my dignity and my sanity. They thought by taking all I have, I would spiral into the path of oncoming traffic. And I did, but it was an incoming success. Today, I have gotten back ten times more than what I have lost. I am stronger, wiser, better, more secure and happier. Sometimes you have to thank your enemies!”

Thank you for reading this piece. I hope you enjoyed.
