A story about reading the Blueprints of your past.

We know the routes and the roads of our past. Can we move on into the future, without a map of our past?

They tell us to forget the past because of all of the pain it brings. Our past holds the blueprints of all of our regrets, mistakes, wrong choices, decisions, actions, ifs, buts, wasted hopes and dreams, nightmares, and all things we didn’t do, should do, want to do, and planned on doing. It also records happy moments too.

Our past has a map that is vital and useful for moving forward into the future. It’s like a book of instructions on what must not be done again. What will fail and what might succeed. Which road and routes to avoid and which ones to take. Who did what, when, where, why, and how. Going back without self-love, wisdom, understanding, and discretion will increase your pain.

There is more information in our past than in the future because when we want to strengthen, we can draw it from past experiences. We can’t draw strength from things that haven’t happen yet. It is easier to handle what you know, than fight the unknown. Yet the power of the unknown is fascinating to many of us. Use your past as an instruction manual, just don’t go back alone. Arm yourself with wisdom, understanding, discretion, and strength.
