The truth love lies,
Because liars give the truth power
To reveal, uncover, unfold, unmask
What is below, beneath, the flask
And then dignity and sanity are recovered
Allowing freedom the power to devour.
Lies detest the truth,
Because truth refused to hide
In tunnels, heart, souls, and minds
Not keeping silent,
Or being a tyrant,
Speaking despite threats of death and violence,
Not giving power to liars,
To destroy what truth requires
With their false hope and desires.
