The Yellow Hibiscus

The walls relate stories of an avid hunter, who has been on many hunting trips. There were no species missing from the mounts that decorated his walls, and not all the animals were caught here in Hawaii either!

I couldn’t imagine the huge taxidermist bill he’d incurred.

“That’s quite a wall of fame,” Booker commented.

“He loves hunting.” Det. Fong added, “and he does it every chance he gets.”

Booker circled around the room, his hand clasped behind his back. Above the huge mahogany desk, a large portrait of a beautiful woman added the human touch. Underneath, the words ‘THIS ONE GOT ME,’ were painted in gold. Booker smiled. She got to be his wife. No one could mistake that. A proud married man.”
