Try writing from the emotion your heart is speaking at a certain point.

I want to be clear that I do not say this proudly but with shame. I don’t want there to be some misconception where I am rebelling against it like some poetry incel, angry that poetry won’t cooperate with me. I want to understand it and I find it humiliating that I can’t.
