‘We are all winners until we start to measure and compare the size of our victory to those of others.’ Competition has its negative and positive sides. I have twin sons and when I teach them, I pit them against each other. It works in a positive way. I have managed to raise them in a way where they both try and develop each other weaknesses. They help and support each other. The Competition packed with ego, weak self-confidence and low self-esteem are where the danger comes in. ‘If you know yourself, then no one can tell you who you are.’ Your mom shouldn’t do that, but you and your sister could have turned it around on her and learn from each other weaknesses and strengthen yourselves.
