What IF? Tag & Thank

Grace decided to follow Christine’s advice and visit the new supermarket that opened in her community. Grabbing a shopping cart on entering, she cruises inside, which was crowded and busy for Wednesday afternoon. A long line of beer barrels on her right caught her eyes, as shoppers walked by staring at them in curiosity. On closer inspection, she noticed the words painted on them in bold capitals. Kindness, Love, Thoughtfulness, Honesty, Consideration, Forgiveness, Understanding, Truth, Patience and Healing. 10 Barrels in all. On her left were bigger barrels and written on them were, Hatred, Cruelty, Famine, Greed, Death, Jealousy, Pain, Starvation, Sickness and Suffering.

Glancing left and right in understanding, a voice interrupted her thoughts, “Welcome,” smiling he gestured, “Our manager’s crazy idea.”

Grace turned to face the voice, and her smile pulls him closer and she said, “No, it’s a great idea.

“Really, you are the first shopper who actually stopped to look.”

“Our world needs more of the things on the right and less of the things on the left. But the things on the right are always in short supply, hence they are the smaller barrel.”

What if we all could put a little of ALL of the good things in a barrel and anyone in need of a little Love, or Kindness, or Consideration, or a little Honesty, or…
